Professional Experience:

Ronnie Smallwood has 28 years of commercial vehicle operation and regulation experience as a State Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Ronnie has over 12 years serving as a Police Supervisor retiring from his career with the title of Lieutenant over the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.

Ronnie is an instructor in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Ronnie currently serves as associate staff with the U. S. Department of Transportation Traffic Safety Institute.

 

Consulting Experience:

Since retirement in 2008 Ronnie has been consulting in the Transportation Industry:

• providing assistance and training to industry in regards to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• providing assistance to industry concerning Hazardous Materials Regulations
• providing assistance to industry by performing mock compliance reviews
• providing assistance to industry concerning State Law
